中华国学经典《礼记》提醒人们：建国君民，教学为先。

意思就是说：治国安民，第一位的就是推行道德教化。 

《大学》指出：格物，致知，诚意，正心，修身，齐家，治国，平天下。

《三字经》指出：

子不学，非所宜。幼不学，老何为。

玉不琢，不成器。人不学，不知义。

为人子，方少时。亲师友，习礼仪。

人的行为需要指引。指引需要教化。

诸葛长青认为，改变人心，必须从教育入手。教育通过口头的、学校的、生活的、书本的等多种方式进行。毫无疑问，优秀的素质来自优秀的教育。孔子、老子、墨子、孟子、诸葛亮、刘伯温等都是经过教育才飞跃的。历代帝王都把教育人心放在第一位。
